Rộng lớn, yên tĩnh và an bình.

There are really four elements to visiting this site; 1) The Temple Buildings 2) The beautiful peaceful forest 3) The museum 4) The Pagoda The whole site is really a dedication to "Ajahn Chah", I hadn't realised how important this Dhamma monk was until my visit. He founded this site in 1954 and died here in 1991. His status is pretty much equivalent to that of a Christian Saint and 10s of thousands of people, both Thai an foreigners, make a pilgrimage here each year to camp in the grounds and listen to Dhamma teachings. I love it's special setting within a large forest, very unusual for a Temple. Many Cockerels in the grounds, along with the squirrels and a background soundtrack of cicadas.

Nong Pa Phong temple is in Warinchumrab, Ubonratchatani. It’s a great place for learning about Luang Pu Cha, the well known monk who ables to teach the Buddhism in a very simple way even for ones who spoke the other languages, not Thai language. In the temple there is a museum, pagoda, and lots of teaching phrases on trees . The place is spacious and has a peaceful atmosphere. Across from the temple there are local product shops.
